“And Castiel isn’t.” Sam tilts his head. “He really listened to us. To you.”
“Yeah, guy’s convinced I’m the next Jesus or something.”
“I don’t think that’s what it was.”
Now that’s the voice of Sam getting some inspired idea, and Dean looks up, only to find a highly suspicious and wrong gleam in his brother’s eyes. “Oh hell no.”
“Are you telling me you didn’t notice? The way he stared at you when you talked? Or even when you didn’t. Dean, he stared at you when he was talking to me.” Sam laughs.
“It’s cause I’m the pretty one,” Dean retorts, and crap, he must be drunk if he’s leaving openings like that.
